Empowering through Compassion

Winsome Care Ltd is a specialist supported living provider based in Liverpool, delivering person-centred personal care and support to adults across Liverpool and wider Northwest.

We support people to live independently in their own homes.

We operate with tailored care packages designed around their unique strengths, goals, and aspirations.

Round The Clock Operation

Our service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, ensuring that the people we support always have access to the care they need, when they need it.

Person-Centred Supported Living

We provide compassionate, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and control. By recognising each person’s strengths, goals and aspirations, we help them build confidence and live a fulfilling life within their own home and community.

Who We Support

Winsome Care Ltd provides person-centred supported living services for adults with a range of needs. Our support is tailored around each person's strengths, preferences, goals and aspirations, helping them develop independence, exercise choice and participate fully in their community.

Adults Aged 18 to 65

We support working-age adults to develop independent living skills, explore education and employment opportunities, build meaningful relationships and take an active part in their communities.

Adults Aged 65 and Over

We support older adults to maintain their independence, daily routines and community connections. Where additional health or social care input is required, we work with the person, their representatives and appropriate professionals to help them access the right services.

People with Physical Disabilities

We help remove barriers to independence and support people to exercise choice and control in their daily lives. Our support respects each person’s abilities, preferences, dignity and right to do as much as possible for themselves.

People Living with Dementia

We provide consistent, compassionate and respectful support for people living with dementia. We take time to understand each person’s life history, communication needs, routines and preferences, ensuring they are recognised as an individual and never defined by their diagnosis.

People with Mental Health Needs

We use a strengths-based and recovery-focused approach that promotes wellbeing, confidence, independence and meaningful participation. Each person is supported to identify their own goals, develop daily living skills and access appropriate community, social care and healthcare services when needed.

People with Learning Disabilities and/or Autistic People

We provide individualised support that promotes choice, independence, inclusion and genuine community participation. Our approach is informed by person-centred practice and the REACH Standards, with support adapted to each person’s communication, sensory and accessibility needs.

Our Approach to Supported Living

At Winsome Care Ltd, we believe that every person deserves support which upholds their dignity, promotes independence, and respects their right to make choices about their own life. Our approach is built around several core principles that guide everything we do.

Person-Centred Support Planning

Every person we support has a co-produced, person-centred support plan developed in genuine partnership with the individual, their family or chosen representatives, and relevant professionals. Support plans are not documents that sit in a file; they are living plans that reflect the person's unique strengths, goals, preferences, and aspirations. Plans are reviewed regularly and updated to reflect changes in the person's needs and wishes.

Genuine Tenancy Rights

We operate exclusively as a care and support provider. We do not own, lease, or manage any housing. This means that every person we support has a genuine tenancy with an independent housing provider, with all the rights and responsibilities that tenancy brings. People can choose their care provider and change provider without losing their home. This separation between care and housing is fundamental to our model and ensures full compliance with the REAL Tenancy Test.

Specialist Leadership

Our leadership team brings a rare combination of professional expertise. Our Registered Manager, Mrs Rejoice Odetoyinbo, holds a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Manchester, is a qualified social worker, and is a Trainee Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). Our Director, Mr Oluwadara Odetoyinbo, holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Plymouth and is an Associate Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (ACIPD). Together, they bring deep knowledge of social care, mental health, psychology, workforce management, and regulatory compliance.

Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture

For people with learning disabilities and autistic people, we are fully committed to Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture framework from the very outset. This means supporting people to have maximum choice, control, and independence, with restrictive practices avoided wherever possible and only used as a last resort subject to proper legal authorisation. Our service is designed to promote empowerment, not dependence.
